De Zittlööschen

Gedicht vun William Wordsworth

I wandered lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o'er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host, of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.

Continuous as the stars that shine
And twinkle on the milky way,
They stretched in never-ending line
Along the margin of a bay:
Ten thousand saw I at a glance,
Tossing their heads in sprightly dance.

The waves beside them danced; but they
Out-did the sparkling waves in glee:
A poet could not but be gay,
In such a jocund company:
I gazed — and gazed — but little thought
What wealth the show to me had brought:

For oft, when on my couch I lie
In vacant or in pensive mood,
They flash upon that inward eye
Which is the bliss of solitude;
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils.

Ik wanner eensam as de Wulk,
de över Woold un Wischen flöögt,
dor sehg ik op'n Stutz en Pulk
Zittlööschen, de sik güllen weegt —
biweglangs an den See, dor stünd
de schemern Schar un danz in'n Wind.

So stüttig, stevig as de Steerns,
de ut de Melkstraat op uns blinkt,
trock sik ehr Guldband in de Feern
un slööt de Seebucht in ehrn Krink;
teihndusend danzen dor in't Licht
so welig as de Koboldswicht'.

De Wellen danzen ok, de Blööm
noch mehr, vull An- un Övermoot.
Un mi, de ik mi Dichter nööm,
danz in mien Hart dat Dichterbloot...
Ik keek — un keek — mi doch nich satt;
doch geev de Blick mi mennigwat:

Wenn ik nadenkern oder ok
en beten mulenkoolsch mi finn,
blixt se op vör mien binner Oog,
maakt Eensamkeit mi to'n Gewinn,
füllt mi dat Hart mit Bliedheit ganz,
dat ik mit de Zittlööschen danz.
